Located in Steamboat Springs, the Strings Music Festival is Steamboat’s premier live music presenter and music venue. The Strings Pavilion seats 569 people and showcases over 60 performances during the summer months from June through August. This year represents the festival’s 33rd year of exceptional music in the Yampa Valley, and both tourists and locals alike flock to the pavilion to enjoy the live music and shows. The summer high season hosts a variety of different music styles year to year, and this season is no different!
The marquee summer festival features orchestra and chamber music; soloists; world, blues, jazz, and rock music – along with youth and family-oriented options for the kiddos and kiddos at heart. The Strings Music Festival tries to keep most of their programs free (about 60% being completely complimentary.)
