Over the past eleven years, I’ve enjoyed learning and improving on all the new ways to reach guests through technology.  It’s fun and exciting because technology is always changing.  For many years, I’ve been involved with VRMA, the Vacation Rental Managers Association.  This has been a fantastic resource to meet other top professionals in this field and learn about cutting edge marketing strategies, guest preferences plus new and better ways to market to adventure seekers.   Here is just a snap shot of some of the marketing we have focused on and strive to improve every season of the year.  I look forward to sharing more about helping owners enjoy their second homes and guests who never forget their vacation adventures.     ~ Sarah Bradford, Owner and Founder

Practically everyone has a  Smart Phone from the 1st grader to Grandma & Grandpa.  It is the preferred devise for booking vacation travel and doing research on fun places to visit.   One of our top priorities at Steamboat Lodging Company is to make it easy for people to book their vacation on their phone.  We have seen a huge increase in our on-line bookings since we made this one of our top goals.

We have an easy-to-use website with the leading live chat software on the market. We have extensive cost per click and organic search engine optimization and advertise with vacation rental listings and travel websites.

All of our properties are professionally staged and photographed.  We have interior decorators who work with our owners to create inviting residences.  Your home will be represented by twenty plus photos and we love to include pictures of your amenities and views. There is also a real time calendar displayed with your home and easy to use interactive floor plans.

We spend a lot of time planning our email marketing campaigns to new and existing guests.  Our focus is on building relationships and not just on “blasting” our guests with updates.  We always craft a message that is relevant to them and offer something of value.  With our marketing, we strive to stay top of mind and that is one of the ways why we have been so successful with return guests.

Our guests are invited to download our custom Steamboat Lodging Company App.   They simply login using their email and arrival date to find all the check-in information including codes to access their home or lockbox, directions and helpful information about Steamboat.  We always include great suggestions for activities and restaurants they may like to try out during their stay.
