We offer a small selection of pet friendly vacation rentals in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Our 'Pet-friendly' vacation rentals are limited dogs only, and in most cases are limited to one dog per property. There is a non-refundable $75 pet fee for your dog to stay at one of our designated pet-friendly homes, which must be declared and paid for at the time of booking.
We ask that guests be responsible for their pet both inside the property, and in the surrounding outdoor areas (where we ask that you please pick up after your dog). Dogs should not be left in the property alone if there is any chance that damage may occur, or if the dog displays excessive barking.
Please be advised that if our housekeeping team has to perform additional cleaning to 'de-fur' the property after your departure, there will be an additional charge. We encourage pet owners to request a vacuum or ask for extra "dog sheets" for your vacation property, which we will be more than happy to provide.
DOGGY DAY CARE IN STEAMBOAT SPRINGS
Not many dogs like to be left alone in an unfamiliar place, so if you are looking for doggy day care while you hit the slopes, we recommend the following daycare & boarding facilities.
- RK Pet Ranch - Offering daycare & boarding for both dogs & cats, they are located 7.5 miles south of Steamboat and consider themselves a "5 Paw Pet Resort".
- Peace, Love & Petcare - This is the only boarding & daycare facility located within Steamboat city limits. They provide lots of outdoor & indoor group playtime. Book ahead, they fill up fast.
- Red Rover Resort - Located 10 miles west of Steamboat, dogs can be dropped off for both daily & overnight boarding. Dogs get to play in groups in outdoor play areas.
