Getting To Steamboat

Driving to Steamboat Springs

From Denver International Airport
Take I-70 West for approximately 78 miles. At the Dillon/Silverthorne Exit #205, go North on CO 9 for approximately 37 miles. When you reach Kremmling, turn left onto US Highway 40 West and continue for approximately 50 miles over Rabbit Ears Pass.  

When you drop into the beautiful Yampa Valley, you will be on the main “drag” in Steamboat~ Lincoln Avenue. It’s time to start your vacation!

From Hayden/Yampa Valley Regional Airport
When leaving the airport, turn right at the end of the airport access road onto US Highway 40 East.  Stay on US Highway 40 East for approximately 27 miles, where Highway 40 becomes Lincoln Avenue in Downtown Steamboat Springs. 

Flying To Steamboat Springs

The Yampa Valley Regional Airport is called the Hayden (HDN) airport and has direct flights from eight major North American cities. This airport is just 27 miles from downtown Steamboat Springs. The Hayden Airport offers true travel convenience for the Steamboat Springs visitor. 

Some of our visitors also choose to fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) and we can help guests with ground transportation to Steamboat Springs from there. Advance booking is recommended for all air and ground travel plans to Steamboat Springs, Colorado and our Guest Experience Team can help bppk this for you.
