Steamboat Lodging Company Shuttle

We offer our Steamboat guests an on-demand shuttle service during the winter ski season, at select properties. This shuttle runs from 7:45am - 10:00pm, seven days a week, throughout ski season. Homes with included shuttle service are noted in listing details.

City of Steamboat Free Bus

The city of Steamboat Springs offers a comprehensive system of free transportation between the ski area, downtown and most hotel, condominium, restaurant, grocery and entertainment locations. The SST runs daily (schedules change seasonally) stopping at each location approximately every 20 minutes throughout the day. Visit the City of Steamboat Springs website for the seasonal schedule.

Rental Cars

Car rental services are available in Steamboat Springs through the Hayden Regional Airport (HDN) and through Enterprise Rental Cars in Steamboat. Rental cars are limited and we recommend four wheel drive for all winter months.

Uber/Lift/Ride Sharing

Uber & Lyft are available in Steamboat, but not nearly as frequently as other locations. Please plan ahead when using these services and expect a limited amount of drivers/cars.

Yampa River Core Trail

Travel like a true local and use the Core Trail to get around town. Bike or walk the 7-mile, paved trail that goes from the ski resort to the West end of town. Bike All Year Round

Diversity is the name of the game in Steamboat Springs, with something for all levels and all riding preferences. You can ride bikes all winter long with fat tire wheels. Our favorite bike shops, Ski Haus & Wheels, offer rentals for an hour or 3+ days depending on how adventurous you are.
