Skiing & Snowboarding

Stay on the mountain to be one of the first to sample some of the lightest snow on Earth that falls regularly on Mount Werner or stop next door to Steamboat Powdercats for professional guided snowcat powder skiing. At night, take advantage of 1,100 vertical feet of night skiing under the lights.

Mountain Biking

Steamboat Resort offers Gondola accessed downhill trails from beginner to expert that twist, wind and berm through the aspen and pine forests of Mount Werner. Also offered are beginner to expert, kids, women’s specific, cross country, and private mountain biking lessons. Bike rentals available on location.

Summer Family Friendly Activities

The base area offers mountains of family activities including kids camps, tubing, ropes course, climbing wall, miniature golf, frisbee golf, hiking, scenic gondola rides, movie nights, and the Coca-Cola Adventure Zone.
