Steamboat Food & Wine Festival
- Location: Multiple venues, including Thunderhead Lodge at Steamboat Resort, 2305 Mt. Werner Circle
- Starts: 12:00 AM
- Ends: 11:59 PM
Four days of chef collaborations, winemaker dinners, seminars, and a Saturday Grand Tasting spread across mountain lodges and downtown dining rooms. A gondola ride opens the weekend with oysters, caviar, and Champagne at sunset. This is a 21-and-over festival, so leave the kids at the rental.

First Friday Art Walk
- Location: Steamboat Art Museum, 807 Lincoln Avenue, plus participating downtown galleries
- Starts: 5:00 PM
- Ends: 8:00 PM
Downtown galleries stay open late on the first Friday of the month, and this October date lands during the plein air exhibition. Walk Lincoln Avenue, meet artists, and see new work without paying admission. It pairs well with a Restaurant Week dinner the following evening.
