We had a great stay. The house was perfect for two families, we had plenty of room and common spaces. Stocked kitchen. The company was very attentive to questions and just with checking in on us.

Amazing ski house! So close to the mountain you can see the runs from the bedroom. The house was bigger than expected, well stocked and very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable and the hot tub was awesome. The shuttle was super fast and somehow we had a private ride every time. We felt it was better than ski in and out as the shuttle drops you off so close there is minimal walking in ski boots. We will be back next year!

This is our second year in a row renting this property with Steamboat Lodging Company.The house is so well equipped with everything we needed. We felt right at home. It’s spacious with plenty of room to spread out. The location is fabulous and the shuttle service was so convenient and easy to use. Our vacation was a 10!

Our family of 8 (ranging from 9yrs.-80 yrs.) loved our weekend stay at Berghaus South! The floor plan was perfect, the rooms were very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. We all enjoyed the game room! We highly recommend renting this property!

Wonderful stay with our extended family. Plenty of space, well supplied. The shuttle service with the app works great! Staff was highly attentive to the few requests that came up. Overall an excellent week!

Our family loved our stay at Berghaus Lodge South! The kitchen was very well equipped for all the meals we prepared. We loved the hot tub and the fooseball table, too. The beds were super comfy, the house was spacious, and we felt right at home! Steamboat Lodging Company was very responsive when the keypad entrance failed to work and needed a new battery. We loved our stay and hope to return!

Our extended family spent a great week at Berghaus Lodge South over the new year's holiday. The house is beautifully furnished and the bedrooms are gigantic and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked with just about any cooking appliance you could ask for and the family room with fireplace and huge TV were great for the college football playoffs. The free purple line bus picks up and drops off literally across the street and at day's end it's no more than a 2-minute ride (we rented a storage cubby from Black Tie for just a few bucks a day and kept our skis and boots there overnight). The house is convenient to a grocery store, drug store, and Walmart for anything that needs to be picked up. It's a duplex but the soundproofing must be great because there was a large group next door and we never heard anyone. Our kids loved the foosball and air hockey tables, and the hot tub was perfect for day's end. The lodging company left a bottle of wine and charcuterie board which was awfully thoughtful but what we really appreciated was when the hot tub wasn't heating up (a tripped breaker, nothing big), we called them and they came out to fix the problem within like 90 minutes. Had a great week (the 3 feet of fresh snow didn't hurt) and would definitely stay again.

We found out the day before our arrival that a National Rental company had cancelled our reservation at another location . We had family arriving from 4 different locations, flight commitments, time off work, and were frantic! We found this beautiful home still available, we were so excited! With Steamboat Lodging Co you communicate with real people and not computers. They went out of their way to confirm our reservation fast! We were in the next day! Everything was exactly as presented. Home is warm and clean, all the appliances, fireplace, hot tub, kitchen , televisions, and internet work. The bedrooms with private baths provide privacy and comfort. Garage keeps your vehicle protected. The convenience of the Steamboat Lodging Co shuttle provides door to door convenience to the Mountain, restaurants, Village, and Downtown. We can’t help but recommend Berghaus South with the highest ratings.

Great location and home for our large group. Steamboat Lodging Company was very helpful during our stay and quick to respond with any questions. The included Steamboat Lodging shuttle was very convenient to get us to/from the mountain base and downtown. The only suggestion would be to have a baby gate or two at the house for any groups with small children. The local Steamboat baby rental company didn't have any either which was surprising. All in all a great stay and would stay at a Steamboat Lodging Company home again.

This was a very nice place to spend an extended weekend with family. It was a beautiful home/duplex and extremely comfortable. It had everything we could ask for in a vacation home. It helped that it rained during our stay and cooled down at night so we were able to open the windows and didn't miss not having AC.

We had a wonderful stay in this home with 7 adults. Everyone was comfortable and there was lots of privacy. The kitchen was very well-equipped and we cooked several meals. I would definitely stay here again.

First, I must comment on Steamboat Lodging staff. They were incredible, knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, and overall superb. We also appreciated our welcome gifts and note. The house was just as described and had everything you could need. We needed baby items such as pack and play and booster seat (high chair) which were brand new and perfect- just take a seat. We did not use shuttle or bus service but they were readily available. We were minutes from slopes with fabulous views. The yard was great to play in and the hot tub very refreshing. We used one of the two washer/dryers daily which was very helpful. The only issue we had was pilot light went out on fireplace and they were literally there in minutes to fix it during a snow squall. 2 car garage was nice as we had 2 cars and great ski storage, with 2 sleds for kids play. The playroom was nice with air hockey and foosball. We did not use poker table but played card games at large dining table. Grocery, pharmacy, etc. all nearby. You will not go wrong if you use this company and choose this house.

This was year 24 of our guys ski trip. We try to go somewhere different every year. This property and management company rate in our top 5. The shuttle service is fantastic (quick service and responsive). The rental office communicates exceptional well to make sure our stay was perfect.

Nolan, Peggy, Beck and the other shuttle driver really did a magnificent job making our friend reunion trip go seamlessly. Shuttle always, i mean always on time for us whenever we needed them. Nolan took great care of us & checked up on us via text message daily to make sure our stay was excellent. Home was spotless and beautiful. Excellent location to ski hill. Individual Master BR for all 3 couples, plus separate BR for kids. The additional R&R space was exceptional for those who preferred to watch a movie instead of Sports. The kids loved the air hockey and foosball tables. Very neat and clean. Well stocked kitchen Your texting app was a great way to keep in touch if any maintenance was needed, questions addressed,etc. Thank you so much. We hope to be return clients next year.

This property is hard to beat. Excellent central location, lots of space inside, very well furnished, and clean. The kitchen had more than ample tools for cooking meals, and the private hot tub was a perfect way to end each day.

The Steamboat Lodging Company was fantastic to work with. They answered all my questions prior to booking. The directions to get access to the condo were clear. The condo was in fantastic shape when we arrived. Very clean and the hot tub ready to go. We had an unexpected issue pop up at the end of our stay. The Steamboat Lodging Company was able to accommodate an unexpected late checkout which I appreciated very much. The Berghaus Lodge South was a beautiful 3 story home. We had 9 people staying, it could have easily fit 13+. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The TV's were massive and great for watching sports and movies. The location  was great for access to the Mountain as well as a walking trail that led to the town. It all made for a fantastic family get-away.

We had a wonderful time here, and thoroughly enjoyed a visit with our adult sons in this beautiful location. There is plenty of space to combine family time with time alone. The views are lovely, and the home is as wonderful as it looks. As a traveler with numerous allergies and extreme sensitivities to smell, I searched the photographs of dozens of Steamboat Springs condos and this is the only one I found with very little carpeting. I took a risk and booked a place that had no VRBO reviews after confirming that it is truly a nonsmoking, no pets rental. We were completely happy with our stay. The top two floors have virtually no smells. The lower level (which we did not use very much) does have carpeting, but it is in good shape and would be very comfortable for someone less sensitive than I am. (No smell of mold at all, and certainly better than any hotel room would be). On the other two levels, everything is beyond expectations and completely perfect. With large screened windows or balcony doors in most of the rooms, the fresh mountain air circulates throughout the house. Despite the huge amount of space on all three levels, the time spent with family in the kitchen and around the large dining table felt very cozy. This place is a treasure.

We stayed here with three families. It was great for each couple to have their own master suite. There is a great area downstairs with a bunk room and a pullout couch that was perfect for the four teenagers we had in our group. We loved the house!!! It was very clean and well-stocked. The booking and payment processing was easy and smooth. I worked with Peggy, and found her very responsive and helpful!!! We would definitely book here again.

We come to Steamboat every winter and this was by far our best vacation home yet! We loved the location and the views- it's less than a 1/4 mile to the resort and the mountain views are spectacular. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and found everything we needed. Well stocked. The house was in great shape- clean and the perfect layout for two families with kids. The hot tub was perfect at the end of the day.  Highly recommend Berghaus Lodge South.
