This place was super clean and had plenty of supplies. Favorite part was the two separate balconies, the sauna and steam shower, and open living area. Enjoyed the super easy walk to the base. And Wild Plum grocery and deli was a short walk and was convenient to refill everyone's favorite food and drinks. Give it 5 stars all around!

SLC delivered
We had a fantastic stay in Steamboat even with marginal snow conditions. Our property was ready upon our arrival, was well appointed and well maintained. Communication from SLC both in advance of our stay and during was excellent. We appreciated the shuttle and drivers who were knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely use SLC for our next trip to the boat.

Trip with three adult sons and fiances
Ironwood was great for us. We needed four bedrooms and bathrooms for adult children to have some privacy. Unit was great for that. Common and area and kitchen well appointed as gathering space. Ski in/out access was very good. We came back to unit for lunch each day and cooked most dinners there too. Grill on deck. Grocery and Walmart very close. The management company was the most attentive/available I have ever experienced. They reached out several times ahead of the trip and answered my questions (I go cross country so I wanted to know about that in the area). While there, I got a couple texts. Check in was well explained. They even helped get personal stuff that got inadvertently locked in the hot tub area out in time for our flight. Very Helpful (Jill). Thanks for a great long weekend with our adult children!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. I appreciated the ability to text Steamboat Lodging Company during the day of any questions came up. The condo is easily walkable to the gondolas. We would recommend this to anyone.

Nice place walking distance to base of the mountain. Unfortunately there wasn't much snow when we were there so no chance to test the ski in/out. The home is lovely, the bedrooms are private and quiet. The staff are amazing- proactive and friendly.

The location of the property we stayed in was fantastic. Just a few minutes’ walk and we were at the gondola. Several great restaurants and a market also were within walking distance.
The property had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. It was very easy to get to town using the free shuttle as well. Loved sitting on the deck in the sunshine listening to the creek.

Large Unit with Easy Access to Lifts
Overall we really enjoyed staying here. The location is great, not slopeside but still only a short walk around the end of the building. With three floors and three flights of stairs inside the condo are tiresome, so just be aware. There are a handful of games and plenty of cards, and the upper floor is nice and comfortable for hanging out. .

Extended Family Ski Trip
4 adults and 3 tween/teens stayed for 5 days and it was great! The location was ideal. Easy access to skiing and restaurants. The spaces were comfortable, clean and the kitchen was well stocked w the basics (paper towels, salt/pepper, etc) to support simple cooking. It was also a quck and easy easy walk to a grocery store. Will def be back!

Better than imagined
Property was even closer to Steamboat Base than I had originally anticipated. Great size for nine adults with comfortable furnishings. Shuttle was super fast!

A gorgeous property right at the base of the resort....everything is just steps away! We loved having access to a private sauna and a great hot tub just across the way. So easy to ski to/from and very handy free shuttle to get in/out of downtown as well. This was a fantastic way for our group to explore Steamboat!

Fantastic Stay!
We had 9 people in our group. This home was perfect for us. It is walking distance to the gondolas, a town center, plenty of restaurants and the public bus. The house has bathrooms for every bedroom. There is a creek that runs along outside the back of the home, it is peaceful and beautiful. Everything was quality here. Cool perks: switch on fireplace, large curved tv in living room, 2 balconies, garage, steam shower, sauna and was pretty well stocked. The complex is pretty small so we never had any other people at the hot tub with us. The hosting company was proactive and thorough. They responded to texts and offered recommendations. We will 100% be back. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Amazing stay!

Fantastic location Wonderful place!
Wow talk about a ski in walk out place! So easy to the gondola and several ski shops. A very clean and spacious condo that felt like a home. Community Hot tub was a bonus as was the sauna inside the condo too. We will be back !

This property is just great! Sauna and steam room are excellent. Wish there was more deck space but the trade off for being right at the Resort base seems fair. Very clean and well kept. We would love to return!

Location! location! location! Base of mountain - 5 minute walk to lifts/gondolas; tricky navigating but able to basically ski back in. Property has a great layout - multiple living areas with kitchen and entertaining areas separate from the Master and 2 of 3 remaining bedrooms. Steamboat Lodging staff extremely responsive leading up to and during the rental - A++++

Not quite ski-in ski-out, but about as close as you could be. Great location, great service. A little tricky to find, but very good direction when I called the representative. So I recommend just doing that!

I can't say enough about the ski in / ski out location of Ironwood by the Creek. With all the traffic and parking issues in Steamboat, being able to walk right out to ski and not have a worry about meeting our group on time was amazing. You can even peek off the deck and see the Gondola & Christy Peak Express lines. Inside, this townhome is spacious and we loved the living area on the top floor, so that the sleeping areas felt private. The Primary suite with a steam shower and sauna was top notch and the bedding was incredible. The garage was heated, extra bonus! We didn't use the ski shuttle, but Steamboat Lodging Company made sure to check on us and let us know it was available. You can easily walk out your door to dinner across the street or to grab groceries at Wild Plum. This place is 10 outta 10!

It fit our every need from it's a unique location at the mountain base with effortless access to trails while being secluded enough for a very private ascetic. The townhome was as inviting as the photos and the sparkling community hot tubs were just steps out the front door which we loved. The primary bathroom hosts a walk-in steam shower with 3 heads that easily gave my wife and I the best showers we've ever taken, so make sure to call dibs! The round dining table adjacent to the central fireplace made for cozy dinners and long game nights we won't soon forget. What surprised us the most was the bedding- silky soft sheets that were truly luxurious! Steamboat Lodging Company was a huge help to us every step we needed it, and we would absolutely rent again. Amazing!!
Ironwood was a beautiful rental. Plenty of space for our family of 5 with room for family to visit. The garage is great for bike rentals and kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Check in and check out was very easy and it was always quick to get an answer to any question to Steamboat Lodging. We could walk to the mountain and to a great breakfast place and there is also a little market right next door if you need to pick anything up. We also got a great discount on our bike rental and used Steamboat Grocery Mom on recommendation from Steamboat Lodging and were so happy with both! We will definitely be renting with Steamboat Lodging next year.

Steamboat Lodging Company checked on us frequently and were responsive to every question we had. The shuttle service was convenient and prevented us from requiring a rental car. The drivers were all friendly. We highly recommend Ironwood by the Creek.

Ski trip
Beautiful home with an easy walk to the base and gondola area. The skiers in our group loved the quick lift access and ability to come in for a quick lunch. The non skiers enjoyed the easy access to the base area. There are plenty of excellent dining choices close by but the kitchen is great so we cooked many of our meals. We came to Steamboat for our annual ski trip this year and had a great time! Ironwood by the Creek is practically next to the gondola and Steamboat Lodging Company recommended a great rental shop next door. The hot tubs were great to soak in after a long day on the slopes. Hope it snows this much again next year!

Great place!!
Very nice place! Very close to the base of the mountain where all the activities are. Very well furnished, well managed, really nice. A few shops nearby too which was nice. Very very good location. Management company was great - during check in door would not open (dead battery) - they were promptly there to resolve (less than 5 min) and when AC unit started leaking water they were again promptly there to fix it. No other issues and they checked on us to make sure everything was great (they even gave us a gift card to a great local restaurant). Garage is small/tight, fits one car though. Recommend it specially if you want a nice, spacious place close to the mountain!

Family Vacation
We stayed here for a week. It was a really nice, comfortable, honey feeling place to stay. Everyone in our family ranging from 6-54 had a wonderful time. The only problem we had was with the hot water, but I called and they had a service guy come out and fix it ASAP. We will definitely be coming back. 😊

Wonderful Vacation
Everything was exactly as advertised. The management company was extremely communicative and helpful. We had a few issues (nothing major) that were immediately addressed. Two families with children and a grandma, so the three levels offered privacy and convenience for everyone. Highly recommend!

Great family getaway
Great location and plenty to do for our family of 5. Kitchen was very well equipped which was important because we cooked in quite a bit due to Covid. Loved the hiking trails located so close to the house.

Really loved the location. The condo was loaded with great amenities and it fit our needs to a tee. The only two things that were not what we would want again are the amount of stairs and the shared balcony with very little seating. We would like to come again but would not want to contend with those two items.

The condo was perfect for our family, with 3 generations each getting their own floor / bedroom(s) / bathrooms. It was in a great location and had everything we needed. The service from Peggy and team was excellent, we hope to come back!

Trip Ruined by COVID
Property was perfect. Ski mountain was closed down on our arrival day and then our flight home was cancelled. Not anyone's fault. Condo looked beautiful. We only got one partial night there.

really one of the best places we have stayed. Very well appointed with everything we needed for a party of 9. place was ready when they said it would be, hot tub in community was very clean, asked for more supplies and they were delivered promptly and during the reservation process the staff was great to work with.

Bluebird Days and Cozy Nights!
What a wonderful vacation week in Steamboat Springs thanks to fabulous accommodations at Ironwood By the Creek and the Steamboat Lodging Company staff. The condo had everything we needed and more from humidifiers, fully equipped kitchen with really nice plates and glasses, seating for 8 at the dining room table plus 3 more at the kitchen island, a crockpot, sauna, a pancake griddle, good coffee makers, board games, heated boot closet in the garage, comfy beds, a steam shower, and plenty of space for 2 families to spread out and relax after long days of skiing. Did I mention the condo was spotless and tastefully decorated? The location is perfect - just a short walk to the gondola (our teenage kids loved this because they were completely independent and could come and go as they pleased), shops, restaurants and Wild Plum grocery store (which had just about everything we needed for the week from food to alcohol). We were even able to see the fireworks from the condo window the last night and hang out in the hot tub after our ski days. The shuttle service provided by Steamboat Lodging Company was prompt, communication was always immediate and the drivers were all so sweet (our kids send a shout out to Tyler -who kindly drove them in and out of town for shopping one day!). We went into downtown several times during our vacation for shopping and dinner. A few of our favorite restaurants include: Salt and Lime, Backdoor Grill (yummy burgers) and Creekside Cafe (best breakfast ever!). We also took a trip out to Strawberry Hot Springs which was a great way to break up the week. If you go with one of the tour companies and leave at 9am you'll get there before it opens to the public and have the whole place to yourself! We couldn't have asked for a more luxurious and relaxing ski vacation! Oh it also helped that we got a huge powder dump our first night so skiing was incredible with bluebird days the rest of the week! Thank you! Multi Level Luxury
Our family of 9 really enjoy staying in this well appointed, super convenient 3 level condo. The location is easy walking distance to the kids ski school and the SB Gondola that takes you to the top. It is truly a ski in/ski out. You can easily ski very close to the front door by going along the side of the unit. Ski rental shops all within walking distance as well. The family room is very spacious and comfortable with a big screen TV, comfy sectional and large kitchen table for meals. The kitchen was very easy to navigate with top Kitchen Aide stainless appliances and well stocked with cookware/plastic wraps/spices/etc. so you can easily make a meal for a crowd in this kitchen. Lots of counter space and an island that worked great for serving and for sitting and eating. The bedrooms were ample in size and very comfortable. Beds and bedding were very nice and the bathrooms were well appointed and spacious. Especially the master bath that included a sauna, large steam shower, and heated floors (heaven). We enjoyed using the 2 hot tubs right outside the front door. The condo has a big basket with towels for you to use when using the spas. We appreciated the nice garage with pegs/hooks to hold all the ski gear and another stall to park an additional car in the drive. The small laundry room also came in handy for storing extra items and the Maytag washer and dyer were a welcome plus. This condo had literally everything we needed to make our ski trip an enjoyable one. I would highly recommend this unit if you're looking for ideal location, space, luxury, and an overall Colorado feel. Great place and location.
We really enjoyed everything about the property including the property managers. They checked in a few weeks before we arrived, while we were there and afterwards. Everything in the property was in great working condition. I would highly recommend it; we will definitely be contacting them on our return.

This was the most welcoming Airbnb experience I've ever had! We arrived to a card and goodie basket, all the instructions on how to use everything in the house were clear and easy, and the home was absolutely beautiful. They gave us a call to make sure everything went well with check-in and check-out and were so friendly. Great experience start to finish!

Our extended family rented Ironwood by the Creek and it was perfect for us.  The location can't be beat, just a short walk to the ski area base- super convenient for our younger kids going to ski school each morning. The kitchen was fully-stocked, plenty of space to gather, and we all enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs after skiing. Loved the private sauna and the steam shower.  Highly recommend. And, the big snowstorm made for some really fun skiing. We'll be back next year!
