This was a great place for our family of 8 for 6 days. We had plenty of space, the rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Having the boot dryers and storage in the heated garage was convenient. We enjoyed the roomy hot tub several nights too. Toward the end of our stay it was hot outside and it became a little warm inside during the day, but there were plenty of fans, humidifiers and little air coolers in every bedroom. Thank you for the wonderful home base - close to everything! We loved our stay here.

The house had everything we needed for our stay. It was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our family of 7. We usually stay at ski in/ski out places, but the free shuttle was super easy, very quick response and ended up adding quite a value to our trip experience. They were at our house for pickup within about 4-5 min and drove us down to the base. It was very easy and comfortable. They also took us around tow for groceries, stores? And the downtown area.

House is a three story which works great for families or couples traveling together - allows individual space! The house is an older home with some recent cosmetic upgrades. Shuttle service was awesome!!- we shuttled to the ski base every morning-( did not use any ski access trails- bit of a walk and from above some looked less ski and more walk. Bedding was comfortable and I loved that the kitchen had a gas stove!!! Washer and dryer on the first level was handy. Hot tub was a nice touch for the end of day relaxation! No problems encountered!

Amazing patio space with equally terrific views! Right on the mountains so very easy to access slope for biking/hiking. Excellent lounge area downstairs that was so roomy and fun. Hope to return for ski season and easy slope access! Thank you SBLC team.

The home was set up very well for our group of 3 couples and 3 kids. Amazing boot dryers and so much space to hang your gear to dry! The mgmt team was very responsive and helpful when needed. A terrific stay and experience for all of us!

What a darling home! There is no TV in the main living space but that is preferred by us. There's one to enjoy in the lounge downstairs. Fantastic boot dryers in the garage and loads of space to get gear drying.....so great and thoughtful!  An actual yard right at the base of the resort too....really fun!  Also loved that all 9 of us could sit comfortably at the same table together.  Thank you!

Amazing vacation
The house itself was amazing… There were plenty of room for all the guests… We had adults and children, and with the three floors there was plenty of room… We cook dinners at the house, and there was plenty of room for everyone… It was a little bit of a walk over to the ski resort but once we figured out how to use the free shuttle, it was awesome… The shuttle will come pick you up and take you to town, to dinner, Two and from the ski resort… It was great. The only issue we had was the driveway was extremely icy and it took a day or two for them to come and clear it… We had a problem getting our car up and down the driveway… The owners were quick to send over some buckets of salt… Overall, this place was amazing and we would definitely stay again

Great Steamboat House
Perfect house for a large group of friends in the Winter. Easily walkable to the the resort, shuttle service worked great for getting to town, and everything as advertised. Clean and spacious!

The Steamboat Lodging Company bent over backwards to take care of our group. They were flexible and checked on us throughout our week. The chalet was incredible! We had three families and it allowed each of us to have our own floor. We had everything we needed at all times. The hot tub outside in the snow was amazing. If you have a large group and want fantastic accommodations I recommend Sissa’s Chalet!

Everything was perfect! The coordination and communication regarding the rental were seamless, and the home's location was fantastic! We rented Sissa's Chalet and found it very comfortable and well-equipped for our party of 6. Loved every minute.

Property Management Company is AWESOME!
We stayed for four nights at Sissa's Chalet and had a wonderful time. This was our first time visiting Steamboat Springs and the home is in great proximity to the downtown area, has beautiful views (especially from the king suite), and the hot tub was awesome! We had a few items we needed help with and every time we reached out to the property management company they were beyond helpful. They definitely went the extra mile and made the trip so much better. I would say the house is outdated for us but the management company alone would be the reason we would come back!

Great house on the mountain! Three levels with multiple common areas made this a great option for our group. We loved the hot tub and views from the deck on the main level. We were here for the gravel race, and loved having a garage for our bikes! Would definitely come back!

The sunsets from the porch are AMAZING. That was my favorite part. The house is very cozy and comfortable. It's summer so it was a little hot but the management company had fans going when we arrived and that helped a lot. The kitchen had everything we needed. I'd love to come back during the winter. I bet the views from the upper level master are amazing when snow is on the trees. Overall it was a 10/10 stay!

We booked Sissa's Chalet via Steamboat Lodging Company this spring for a last minute guys trip. The location was excellent for some last minute spring skiing and since the weather was nice, we could walk down to the shops & restaurants at the bottom of the slopes. We cooked at home for a few meals and the kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were really nice. We used the hot tub a lot and enjoyed the star gazing and the views from the deck of the surrounding mountains are incredible. The bedrooms were laid out perfectly for our group and the bedding was clean and new. Also, we loved the ski season shuttle to get us to the slopes. With more snow, you can walk right over to the slopes to get on and at the end of the day almost ski home, but since it was the end of the season, that access wasn't navigable. This home feels very Steamboat and we loved every minute of it.

We stayed at Sissa's Chalet just before the ski area closed (for closing weekend) and loved it. This is a genuine on-mountain home that's about 150 yards to the slopes, so not ski in/ ski out, but a manageable walk, even with gear & kids. We loved the layout of the house with the large upstairs bedroom suite and second lounge downstairs for the kids. Hot tub was clean & warm and a great place to watch the stars. Since we were the first group to stay in this home, Steamboat Lodging Company checked in with us regularly to make sure our stay was enjoyable (which it was!). We used the shuttle quite a bit and when there was a short delay in pick-up time, Taylor, the driver, made sure to stay in touch with us about it. Overall, great Steamboat vacation home!

Great stay for ski trip

Great stay
The house is in a great location. A very short walk to ski in / ski out (less than five minutes). Great view from the upstairs. We had a couple of maintenance issues and the repair person was at the house within an hour (and very quickly fixed the problems). We would definitely stay in the house again.

We had a great stay at this house. The mater bedroom on the top floor is gorgeous. It was in a great location too, walking distance to the resort. And biking distance to many of the mountain bike trails.

Great Family Vacation
We had two families, 4 adults and 4 kids. The space in the house was perfect for two families. The location is close to walk to the base and bus line. The house is on a large lot for the kids to play. Retreatia’s service was top notch. We forgot an item at the house that we needed for the next day. They were closing for the night but left the key back in the night drop box so my husband could swing by and pick the item up. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved it!!
Very nice house, close to the slopes & ski resort. With having kids in our group the shuttle was awesome. Private hot tub was great with us having a big group! Dishwasher works but needs to be fixed, it’s not attached to the cabinet. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in Steamboat
We loved this place. Plenty of different spaces to gather, comfortable sleeping arrangements, great master bedroom and an up to date kitchen. Best access to the mountain that we've ever had, short walk to the gondola area and quick ski down for tickets. So nice to exit the mountain to be home so quick. Thank you!!!

GG reunion
We had a very nice time and the new carpet and furniture is a nice addition. We had a problem but the folks came as soon as we called and fixed it right away and were very pleasant. I had been there before but for my girlfriends it was the first time and they all rated it one of the best places we have been. The weather was perfect and the place has a beautiful view. Thanks!

Great stay with Retreatia
Retreatia provided a very nice experience. The renting process was easy, check in and checkout, also very easy. The unit was clean and well maintained and came as advertised. Great ski house with walk-on access to the slopes. We had a great time and would use Retreatia again.

Great Steamboat House
A group of 7 of us stayed here for 8 days in January. The house is perfectly set up for skiing with boot and glove warmers in the garage and cubby holes for gloves etc. The hot tub is great and also relatively private. Access for skiing is not obvious, but fairly easy, just a walk out the back, across the road and through the condo across the road to get onto a groomed track to the slopes. Lots of room with 2 living areas, so you could get away from others in the house. The main bedroom is huge as well. We would definitely stay here again if going back to Steamboat.

Great house for a two family vacation!
We had a marvellous vacation this summer in Steamboat staying at Kristin Chalet. The house provided us with plenty of space for our two families which included four adults and four teenagers. The house was very clean. The teenagers enjoyed the lower level and the hot tub. We LOVED the outdoor deck! It is south facing so there was always plenty of sun to soak up! The views of the mountains and the sunsets from the deck were lovely. The location of the chalet is about a five minute walk to the gondola and a few minutes drive to the town. We would definitely return in the future!

We had three couples in this lovely house for a week. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house provided more than enough room for each couple to have their own space - and bathroom! The deck was the most popular spot after a day of skiing and the views of the mountain were spectacular!

Excellent
My wife & I with our 2 daughters and husbands and 5 grandchildren stayed at Kristen Chalet...the perfect house for our needs! Our oldest daughter and husband and their youngest son occupied the downstairs level, which would be considered the "family room" with a gorgeous moss rock fire place, bath and laundry room. Level 2 was occupied by my wife and me. The "living room" dining/kitchen area was perfect and we were able to go outside onto the deck which was the length of the house, overlooking the beautiful scenery. It also had a bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one with a bunk bed and the other with a queen size bed. Our oldest granddaughter opted to stay in the bunk bed. The 3rd level was the "master suite" and our youngest daughter and husband stayed there as they have a 2 year old and 6 month old twins. This house was the perfect arrangement for all of us. We could be together when we wanted to and yet had our own separate get-away when needed. The house is beautiful, country/rustic décor, super clean and supplied with everything we could've asked for, except for the groceries we brought with us. The only little glitch was that we couldn't get the TV's to work...we called the maintenance people and someone came to our rescue within the hour...needless to say, it was "operator error" but the gentleman was very nice and couldn't have been more accommodating. We are hoping to stay here again next year and make this an annual trip. We Highly recommend this home as a home-away-from home.
