My family has been to steamboat a few times but we usually stay near the base to ski. This was our first time staying by Wildhorse Meadows and we absolutely loved it! The gondola to the base was so easy to take and a quick 5 minute walk from the townhome. The unit itself was stunning! Everything was modern and clean, with beautiful furnishings and comfortable bedding. There was enough room for the 10 of us to spread out, the kids taking over the bottom level. The host was very proactive in making sure everything was suitable upon check-in. We would absolutely come back and stay here again next winter!

This was a terrific way to stay in Steamboat! Just down the hill from the resort and two way to get there....both easy. Really no need for the vehicle we rented so next time we won't. So clean and comfortable bedding and all you need provided in the home. Amazing views in the rooftop hot tub. We'll be back to enjoy all the awesome porch space in the summer! Thanks so much for hosting us.

Booking through Steamboat Lodge was very easy. They assisted our group to book our stay at a beautiful private home at the base of the ski area. The home was in top form and was enjoyed by all. Great recommendations of places to go and things to see were also given so that we had the most wonderful time during our stay in Steamboat Springs. We will be back!

Wildhorse Retreat was perfect for our family group of 9. The house was in like new condition, beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Since we are a family of allergies we cooked all our meals at home. Steamboat Lodging Company was responsive to requests. A very good company to work with. Thanks!

Perfect in every way!
We are a family of babies, preschoolers, adults & old folks! The location was perfect for those of us who are skiers and everyone else that wanted to experience winter/spring in the rockies with family. The house is lovely and beautifully decorated. Plenty of space for everyone. Beds are comfy! Minor hot water problem that was taken care of immediately. Wild Horse Gondola was so convenient. Also easy walking distance to Steamboat Square if you miss the last run back to the house. 5 minutes from downtown. We WILL be back!

We had an incredible stay at Wildhorse Retreat! The location truly couldn't be better. The home itself was thoughtfully designed with fun textures and top tier amenities. It's a very short walk to the community pool, restaurants, and community Gondola which made it so convenient for exploring the mountain area. Not only was it close to the slopes, but the grocery store was under 5 minutes away which was a blessing for us as we love to cook! The property was immaculate, with plenty of space, a cozy atmosphere, our family appreciated every moment. If you're looking for a hassle-free, prime location with everything you need right at your doorstep, this is the place to stay! We will definitely be back!

Great getaway
Property was great. Nice room arrangements, good amenities. Foosball table was a huge hit with the family as well. Property was clean, easy to manage the temperature and an easy check in and check out process.

Steamboat Gravel Stay
It is convenient for everything. The main bedroom has a nice outdoor sitting area and great pillows. The whole house is beautiful.

Steamboat Lodging Co did an excellent job for our stay at Wildhorse Retreat. Communication was proactive and provided great information about the area. Response to text messages was very quick and provided the information or supplies needed quickly. The Wildhorse Retreat was very nice and in great condition for our arrival. It was well equipped with supplies, towels, linens, etc. It is a large house and can comfortably accommodate large groups.

The house was beautiful and absolutely great. Everything was very clean and it looked just like the pictures. The checkin process was easy and the management company was extremely responsive throughout the entire stay.
The layout of the house was perfect for multiple families and the kids loved the lower level with the bunkbeds and tv/game area. The kitchen was well stocked and had lots of pots/pans/prep bowls, etc. House was also an easy walk to a number of different restaurants and to the community pool.
100% recommend and will absolutely stay here again!

We all enjoyed this lovely, new property. Amazing rooftop hot tub, comfy furnishings, and fun gaming/lounge area. Was a nice fit for our families. Heading to the resort was so easy with the neighborhood gondola! Will surely be sharing with friends and we all hope to return!

Perfect stay
The home is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as pictured. It had everything our family needed. We had three generations there for my 40th birthday celebration and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. The home was immaculate and very spacious, the beds comfortable (even the bunk beds, as reported by adults who slept on the bottom bunks), the balcony and outdoor fireplace are such a treat, and the hot tub on the roof is perfect for star gazing. The home was perfectly clean and well stocked. One suggestion for families is that if you’re bringing young kids to sleep in the bunks, I’d recommend bringing an audio monitor, as the main level is a few floors up, so the kids were a little nervous to be on their own and it was hard to hear them when sitting in the living room after bed time, and certainly if sleeping in the master bedroom. My only very small complaints are that the water didn’t get *quite* as hot as I would have liked and we could have used more towels. However I’m just being very picky at this point because our stay was fantastic.

Family Steamboat Trip!
We had a great time at this beautiful house. The location was perfect, close to the pool and trails galore for our family of cyclists. The house was well stocked and clean. Hoping we’ll be able to come back next year. My husband left his new Steamboat Gravel Triathlon drinking glass there so keep it safe for us! Ha!

Great place with room
The house is very nice, well appointed and large enough for our extended family of 9 to have plenty of space. IT's about 2 miles outside of Steamboat but an easy drive (albeit with lots of traffic). We used the kitchen, grill, hot tub, foosball table, etc. - everything worked fine and was well maintained. Highly recommend the property.

Beautiful home in Steamboat Springs!
We booked the Wildhorse Retreat for a multi-family week of activities over the 4th of July. The home is beautiful! It's in a nice, quiet area and has gorgeous views everywhere. The home itself seems quite new based on the cleanliness of everything. It's only about a 10-15 minute walk to the base area of the ski resort, which is really nice. Getting into the town was an easy 10 minute drive. The management company was wonderful, contacting us before and during our stay, to make sure everything was perfect. When I did have to call for a couple issues, they were extremely quick to respond. We were missing a remote for a ceiling fan (found in a closet) and then the WiFi was dropping out on our last full day. Our group loved the house and we'd absolutely return if we get back to the area!

Steamboat Perfection!
We loved our stay at the Wildhorse Retreat! We didn't use all of the amenities, so we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and hot tub at the condo building. Next time! The house had plenty of room for everyone, comfy furniture and beds, great views from the private hot tub, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Being close to the Wildhorse gondola was an added perk. Stay here...you won't regret it!

Fantastic property with even better management.
Fantastic property with great space to hang out together, but bedrooms separate enough to allow for privacy. Above all else, the communication associated with this property was far and above the best I’ve ever received. Before, during and upon checkout, nothing was left to question.

Surprise gathering for Husbands 40th was a hit !!
Beautiful home. The interior design was on point. Truly. Every room had a boxed fan & a humidifier, so appreciated. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, our only advice, add a large griddle & a Kuerig. *also, turn up those water heaters! Burr We ended up leaving sleds @ the property, for the next family to use. Can’t wait to come back! Guest services, Peggy & Michelle, I ever appreciated all your help!! Bless y’all!

Cool design, house meets the property description on VRBO. It can accommodate 10 guests comfortably even though we were 8. Very close to the Wildhorse Meadows gondola which connects with the base of the ski area.

Great last minute stay!
My husband and I wanted to get out of town last minute. We had another couple with us. Overall great stay. Great location. We couldn’t get something to work and they were on it. Sent a guy to walk us through it and he ended up giving us some great restaurant recommendations. Super easy check in/out. There is some construction next door. The downstairs rooms could hear it in the morning. A sound machine pretty much fixed it. The upstairs master is the only room with A/C. I would recommend additional units for at least the middle floor. And maybe another king size bed!

Everyone of us had our own bedroom (what a treat!). The views, decor and the outside fireplace sitting area were divine. Easy and fun to walk to coffee//breakfast in the morning at Wild Plum but honestly we never wanted to leave the home. It was the very most perfect place for a girls' getaway. Thank you!

We love Steamboat and have been here many times, but staying at Wildhorse Retreat has by far been my family’s favorite place! Planning a trip with two families is always a challenge, my husband and his brother always like to travel together. So we’re constantly looking for places that work for both adults and children. This place was AMAZING. From the lounge/game room downstairs to the indoor/outdoor kitchen bar seating (the entire room opens up!) the kids were in HEAVEN. The outdoor spaces were amazing, super comfy furniture and an outdoor fire, and a rooftop hot tub with awesome views. When we arrived we didn’t have enough hot tub towels for all the kiddos, but we texted Steamboat Lodging Company, and they were quick to drop some clean fresh towels off before we even used the hot tub. The communication with Steamboat Lodging Company is second to none and made us feel safe and taken care of.
