Steamboat Wine Festival 2017

It’s wine time in Steamboat Springs.   For the 14th year in a row, Steamboat will host its annual wine festival.  What could be better than a weekend packed full of summer activities?  Incorporating wine of course!  And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you attend the Wine Festival this year on August 9th – 13th.  More than 100 culinary artisans, wineries, breweries, distilleries and local influencers gather to wine and dine the guests who attend the truly unique experience that is Wine Festival.  With over 20 events hosted throughout the weekend you’re sure to find a few that suit your tastes.  From farm-to-table dinner events to yoga & wine overlooking the Yampa Valley there are ample opportunities to partake in an experience that will satisfy your appetite.


Educational seminars, cooking classes, outdoor activities, food and wine tastings, and live music are just a sample of the kind of events you can expect to enjoy over Wine Fest weekend.  Signature events include Wine on the Mountain,  Stroll of Steamboat, and Toast of Steamboat.

Wine on the Mountain

When: August 10 from 5-7:30pm

Where: Thunderhead Lodge, Top of the Gondola
Cost: $145

What:  To kick off the weekend enjoy a scenic ride up the Steamboat Gondola to an intimate evening where you’ll have one-on-one time with your favorite winery, enjoy heavy appetizers and listen to live music. The event features domestic and international wines as well as beers and fine sprits.


Stroll of Steamboat

When: August 11 from 4-7 pm

Where: Downtown Steamboat Springs
Cost: $85

What: Acquaint yourself with Downtown Steamboat Springs as you stroll along to the numerous restaurants and retailers, each offering small bites, wine, craft beer, and spirits that will have you coming back for more.


Toast of Steamboat

When: August 12 from 3-6 pm GA, 2-3 pm VIP

Where: Gondola Square
Cost: $99 GA, $150 VIP

What: You don’t want to miss the grand finale of the weekend! The largest event of the festival hosts over 500 different wines and food from 20+ local restaurants. Live music in Gondola Square with big views of Mt. Werner create the perfect setting to wrap up a weekend filled with exceptional food and drink.
