Pearl Lake is located north of downtown Steamboat (30-minute drive ) and is a must visit for the summertime guest. The Paddleboard Adventure Company offers board rentals, lessons, glow tours and also paddleboard yoga classes. Lessons are offered on Pearl Lake, the Yampa River and the Colorado River in Glenwood Springs, CO. This is a fun activity for the whole family and we highly suggest checking it out.
The Yampa River offers a fun, comfortable inner tube ride for all ages in Steamboat. There are small rapids, standing waves and rock features that will carry you for one to three hours depending upon the river’s flow and where you put-in or take-out your tube. There are restaurants, parks and places to stop for a drink along the way. The tubings season typically starts in June and lasts through September. Conditions will be dependent upon rainfall and snow-melt. Backdoor Sports of Steamboat
