Your Guide To Steamboat’s Pro Rodeo Series!

From June 21st to August 10th the weekly Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series appears every Friday and Saturday night at Howelsen Hill Rodeo grounds. Events include bull riding, bronc riding, cowgirl barrel racing, steer wrestling, and calf roping. There are even kids events with a ram scramble and calf scramble for kids of all ages. If you’re here for the Fourth of July, check out all the festive activities surrounding the Rodeo that weekend.

For food & drinks, barbecue with sides, snacks, and a full bar are available at the Rodeo and make sure to bring a little cash to tip your servers who will come right up into the stands. In addition to the main events, there is also music and entertainment making the rodeo a can’t miss family stop on a Steamboat summer vacation. Main events start at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and the BBQ starts at 6:00 p.m. and runs until 9:30 p.m. Pre-Rodeo entertainment appears on the entertainment stage from 6:00 p.m. until 7:15 p.m.
