Steamboat OktoberWest is being held in Steamboat Springs for another fun-filled year! Celebrating the 16th year in 2025, OktoberWest is a celebration of craft beer in our beautiful mountain town. With an anticipated 30 brewers and between 1,000-1,500 beer enthusiasts in attendance, this one-day afternoon event will include live music, food, and festivities.

OktoberWest is Steamboat's signature fall beer festival — a high-energy, family-friendly celebration of craft beverages, local bites, and mountain culture with a German twist. This year's event brings back crowd favorites like the beef cook-off, a games competition, and family-friendly activities. Exciting new features include a vendor market and optional on-site childcare.
Friday Beer Stroll
The weekend kicks off on Friday with the annual Beer Stroll. Head downtown to participating restaurants to taste a variety of seasonal and local beers. This event is a fundraiser for the Young Professionals Network. The Stroll runs from 4-7PM beginning at the Commons Food Hall. Attendees who attend the Beer Stroll will receive their branded pint glass a day early for the evening's festivities.
Saturday Beer Garden
Saturday's event will take place in the Steamboat Mountain Village at the base of Steamboat Resort. More information to come.Beef CookoffSaturday's event will feature the return of a local favorite event - the Beef Cookoff hosted by Home Ranch. Local restaurants looking to compete in the OktoberWest Beef Cookoff can apply to be a featured restaurant.
