Steamboat OktoberWest is being held in Steamboat Springs for another fun-filled year! Celebrating the 17th year in 2026, Steamboat OktoberWest is a celebration of craft beer in our beautiful mountain town. With an anticipated 30 brewers and between 1,000-1,500 beer enthusiasts in attendance, this one-day afternoon event will include live music, food, and festivities.

OktoberWest is Steamboat's signature fall beer festival — a high-energy, family-friendly celebration of craft beverages, local bites, and mountain culture with a German twist. This year's event brings back crowd favorites like the beef cook-off, a games competition, and family-friendly activities. Exciting new features include a vendor market and optional on-site childcare.
Friday Night Beer Stroll
The weekend kicks off on Friday with the annual Beer Stroll. Head downtown to participating restaurants to taste a variety of seasonal and local beers. This event is a fundraiser for the Young Professionals Network. From 4–7 PM, explore downtown Steamboat’s favorite bars and restaurants while sampling a variety of local beers. This ticket includes a 6-oz branded stainless steel tasting glass, and proceeds support YPN’s work to connect and empower emerging community leaders.
